Overcooked! (Xbox One) – Available: October 1 – 31
If you need a way to test the limits of your friendships, Overcooked! might be the game for you. Up to four players scramble around kitchens of various shapes, sizes, and physics in order to assemble customers’ orders on time and correctly. Cooking in a regular kitchen can be stressful enough, but what about a kitchen that rocks back and forth on a pirate ship, or one split between two trucks speeding down the highway? Take a deep breath, and may your friendship survive the trials this game throws at it.
Victor Vran (Xbox One) – Available: October 16 – November 15
Here’s the recipe for Victor Vran: take one part Diablo’s action-RPG formula, one part Gothic Victorian setting, mix thoroughly. Pour over the freshly-slain corpses of demons and other hell-beasts, all while listening to the gravely, dulcet tones of Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt in the Witcher series. Sound tasty? Then be sure to download it when it becomes available mid-October.
Stuntman: Ignition (Xbox One / Xbox 360) – Available: October 1 – 15
If you’re a fan of movies like the Fast and the Furious franchise or Baby Driver, Stuntman: Ignition is all but guaranteed to be your jam. Take the wheel as a Hollywood stunt driver, crashing through elaborate sets as you strive to not only be fast, but be cool. Make each shot the big-screen spectacle it was meant to be.
